Privacy policy

Introduction

Protecting your privacy, building trust in BetterLife50plus and maintaining a long term relationship with all our users are our main concerns. Therefore we are committed to protect the privacy of all visitors and registered users of our websites and to treat their personal data with utmost confidence.

Furthermore we are required by law to publish detailed data protection rules on our websites. On many Internet portals you will find extremely long, complicated, often confusing data protection rules, which in most cases were written by lawyers, and for this reason are often understood in their entirety by these law professionals only.

We believe that a privacy policy should be easy to understand. It should inform and protect our users so we continue to earn your trust.

With the following (hopefully) easy-to-understand privacy policy, we would like to inform you which data we collect, how BetterLife50plus processes and protects your personal information, and how you may be able to share your personal information with other users.
Therefore, we follow the principles below to protect your privacy.

Basic principles in the processing of personal data

LIFESTYLE CONSULTANTS LLC, Fountain Hills, Arizona, U.S.A. operates the contractual service "BetterLife 50plus", hereinafter referred to as "BL50plus". This privacy policy applies to all websites operated by LIFESTYLE CONSULTANTS LLC under various domain names. The websites on which LIFESTYLE CONSULTANTS LLC offers the BL50plus services are collectively called the "BL50plus Websites".
BL50plus complies with the following principles for the protection of your personal data:

  • We, the service provider shall collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with international laws and statutes on data protection, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

  • The service provider uses your personal data exclusively to enable you to use the BL50plus Internet services that are subject to registration.

  • We will not use, process or disclose your personal information beyond what is permitted by law and your consent.

  • Unlike the often very limited privacy settings in some social networks, on BetterLife50plus you determine yourself whether and which groups of people can have access to what kind of your personal information. Registered users on BL50plus can only view your personal data if and insofar as you expressly permit. For an overview of all of your privacy settings refer to the menu item "Privacy settings" in your user profile where you can make changes at any time. You alone decide how open or private you want to be on BetterLife50plus..

Consent to processing your information

By opening your user account or by adding additional information to your BL50plus user profile, you explicitly and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement that allows BL50plus to process your information.

At any time you have the right to withdraw your consent to BL50plus collecting and modifying the information you have provided t by modifying your profile settings or by deleting all the information in your profile and closing your user account.

Right of disclosure, deletion, blocking

You can view and also delete your personal data we stored in your user profile any time. At any given time you also have the right of information about your personal data we stored, their origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing. You have the right to correct, block or delete this data. For further information on personal data you may contact us at support@b50plus.com

"Under 18" / Minimum age of use

The use of all BL50plus websites is reserved exclusively for persons over the age of 18 years. Parents or guardians are responsible for protecting the privacy of their children.

Data Security

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data, in particular against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against the attack of unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Data Collection

Cookies, pixels

The BL50plus websites use "session cookies" after logging in (with email and password) to identify you during your visit. After the end of each session the session cookies expire automatically. "Cookies" are small files that allow our system to specifically store intermediate information on your PC or other device while you use the BL50plus services. Cookies help us, for example, to grant your user group appropriate rights for reading and writing, to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our websites, to increase security, and to make our offers as convenient, efficient and interesting as possible.
The BL50plus services can also use "persistent cookies" to capture information about visitors who repeatedly access BL50plus services. The purpose of using these permanent cookies is to continually improve our information and services for you. The persistent cookies contain no personal data. Name, IP address etc. are not saved. An individual profiling of your usage behavior does not take place.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookie in individual cases, restrict the acceptance of cookies on certain websites, as well as enable the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. However, please note that the use of the BL50plus services for registered users is not possible if session cookies are rejected.

The BL50plus services may also use so-called pixels, web beacons, clear GIFs or similar mechanisms ("pixels"). A pixel is an image file or link to an image file that is inserted into web page code or emails, but is not on your device (e.g., computer, smartphone, etc.). Pixels are used by us mainly for the same reasons as cookies. For example, they allow us to count the number of users visiting our web pages or, if the user's email program allows HTML, to determine if and when an email was opened. Pixels help us to check and optimize the effectiveness of our websites, offers and advertising. A personal reference is not produced by the pixel usage by us. Also a personal tracking does not take place. Usually pixels work in conjunction with cookies. If you have disabled cookies, then the pixel will only detect an anonymous web page visit.

Server log files

At different times and/or for certain page views, the Internet server automatically saves information in a log file, the so-called server log, which your browser automatically sends to us. These are:

  • Time of the server request

  • Browser type and browser version

  • used operating system

  • Referrer URL (from which you came to the requested page)

  • IP address of the accessing computer

BL50plus uses the log data anonymously for statistical evaluations. E.g. BL50plus may find out on which days and at which times the information of the BL50plus websites are particularly popular and how much data volume is generated on the BL50plus websites. In addition, BL50plus can detect possible errors through the log files, e.g. broken links or bugs, and use the log files to further develop the BL50plus websites.

BL50plus does not associate page views in the server log with individuals. BL50plus reserves the right to use data from log files if there is suspicion that users are using the BL50plus websites and/or the BL50plus services for illegal reasons or commit breach of contract. This is for the protection of the BL50plus users, the security of the BL50plus user data, as well as the BL50plus websites and BL50plus services.

Login via Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn

We also offer you the possibility of a secure and fast login to BL50plus via your existing user account on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Single sign-on (also known as single login) via Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn is one way to sign up for BL50plus without having to register iwith separate user data.

For example, if you login to BL50plus with your Facebook account, BL50plus connects, processes and uses your local authentication information from Facebook, including your username, encrypted access information, and other information provided on or through your Facebook account

In no event your password can be read or stored. Since Twitter and LinkedIn do not forward your email address, users who log in via Twitter or LinkedIn initially have no email address on BL50plus. However, you can manually enter an e-mail address in your user profile. Otherwise you will not receive newsletters and update emails from BL50plus.

You can view and also delete your personal data we stored in your user profile any time.
Please also read the paragraph Right of disclosure, deletion, blocking

Please note that registration and use of Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn are subject to the respective Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of these companies.
